Our philosophy for our Men’s Ministry is taken from Neh 4:13–20. Realizing that the Jews were under attack from their enemies, both internally and externally, Nehemiah gave the men greater incentive to build the wall together and to overcome the difficulties that they faced by having each man work on the portion of the wall near his home. This way, each man was not just repairing and defending the wall around their city; they were also repairing the portion of the wall protecting their homes, their families, and their friends. They had to invest in each other’s lives because they realized the outcome of the project affected all of them.
